Africa

Well, it's been about four years since I took this trip with my mom. This week I finally got around to organizing the pictures into a video slideshow. Better late than never. I am a bit disappointed though, the quality of the pictures has deteriorated a bit since I loaded it onto Google Video. You can access the video by clicking on the link located on the right side of this webpage.

I beleive traveling is by far the greatest learning experience one can have. Especially to a third world country like Kenya. I have gained a whole new perspective on what poverty really is, a sense of what its like to be a minority, and so much more. For me it was eye opening and life changing.

So often in the travel business I hear folks say they are going to wait until they retire to see the world. I cannot say it enough, "don't wait"! Besides the obvious limitations we gain as we age. The world would be a more peaceful place if we all took the time to go see how others live; learn about the people, their customs & what daily life is like.
